Obituary for Donald Wood
Donald Wood – December 20, 1937 – February 25, 2018
Don Wood passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sunday February 25th, after a long battle with Parkinson’s and dementia.
He leaves his wife Marion of 59 years, children Kevin (Susan), Karen (Fred), Debra (Amor); grandchildren Melissa (Jeff), Tanya (Ryan), Stephanie (Daren), Jeffrey (Carly), Monica; and five great grandchildren, Nashay, Lirael, Brooke, Parker, and Cody.
Don was a long-term employee of Wolfe Chev Olds and The Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) and took pride in his work. He greatly enjoyed bird watching, camping, and spending time outdoors.
A celebration of life will be held at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel (4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby) on Saturday, March 10th at 11am.
