Donald White
It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Don on November 28, 2018 at 59 years of age. Loving father of Ciara White (Jesse Rooke) and Morganne White (Luke Miller). Precious grandfather of Raedyn. Son of Cornelia White and the late Michael. Dear brother of Michael (Anita), Jim, Patricia Wood, the late Tom, Debra Bray (Doug), Dennis (Deb), Jeff (Carol) and Mark. Loving Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Will be missed by many other family members, close friends and co-workers. Don loved spending time with his family, golfing and playing cards. He will always be remembered for his passion and dedication in our local unions fighting for our people and the people in our community. He was the former chair person at Flex N Gate and current Financial Secretary for UNIFOR 195. He will be sadly missed by his union brothers and sisters. If you desire, memorial tributes to the John McGivney Children’s Centre or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will take place on Monday from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Don’s life will be held on Tuesday at 11 am at Families First 585 Sandwich Street South, Amherstburg, 519-969-5841.
