Died peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on January 6th, 2018. Don Verner, of Wellington, formerly of Toronto, at the age of 80.
Beloved husband of Eleanor for sixty years, father of Mike Verner (Kelly), of the County, Kimberley Ostroskie (Philip) of Ameliasburgh, Rachelle Verner-Cain (Gerry) of Trenton, Greg Verner (Shane) of Milford, Vicky Verner (Rick Wight) of Waupoos and the late Tom. Loving grandpa of seventeen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Betty Kostiw of Toronto and Tom of British Columbia and the late William and Robert.
Funeral Service will be held at the
Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main St., Picton
on Wednesday January 10th at 10:30 a.m.
Pastor David Inch officiating.
Spring Interment at Cherry Valley Cemetery.
If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Autism Ontario would be appreciated.
The family will receive friends
Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m.
