Donald Frederick Van Bridger
Peacefully at hospice in Florida on Saturday, June 30, 2018, Donald Van Bridger, formerly of South Mountain, age 71. Loving father of Shannon Van Bridger (Mark Carkner) of Mountain and Gregory (Sharon) of Morrisburg. Cherished grandfather of Brittany and Sarah Carkner. Dear brother of John (Marilynn) of New Hamburg, Karen McNicol (Don) of Kingston and Mary Meerakker (Willy) of Oak Valley. Uncle of Cindy, Kim (Ian), Jamie (Heather), Kelly (Sarah), Lauren (Paul), Krista (Tim), Angela (Conrad) and great-uncle of Bailey, Abby, Rhys, Norah, Joni, Leo and Wyatt. Predeceased by his parents Edward “Ted” and Jean Van Bridger (nee Gibbons), his wife Janet Ballard and his sister Beverley Van Bridger.
Funeral Arrangements
A Celebration of Donald’s life will be held at the South Mountain Agricultural Hall on Saturday, July 14th from 1-3 p.m. Donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Dundas County Hospice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
