DONALD TAPPER 19372018

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late
DONALD TAPPER of Frenchman’s Cove announces his passing.
Mr. Tapper passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health
Care Center in Burin on August 13, 2018 at the age of
80. Leaving to mourn with a
lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Mary of 53 years; sons,
John Tapper (Brenda) of Enfield, NS and Lloyd Tapper (Corey Ralph) of
Edmonton; daughter, Tina Hillier (Allan) of Grand Bank ; 2 special
grandchildren, Brandon Savoury (Lucinda) and Cameron Savoury (Danielle
Sheppard) ; sister, Louise Balsom (Vernon) of Garnish; sisters-in-law,
Shirley Tapper of Frenchman’s Cove, Carol Hicks (Duke) of
Grand bank and Annie Haskell (Les) of Grand Bank; homecare workers,
Kimberley Rice and Lucinda Savoury, plus a large circle of
extended family and friends.
Mr.
Tapper was predeceased by his parents, Ambrose and Amelia Tapper,
sisters, Sadie Young, Stella Hapgood and Sophie Hapgood and brothers,
Carl and Gerald Tapper.
The Tapper Family will be accepting visitors at St.
Luke’s Anglican Church in Frenchman’s Cove on
Tuesday, August 14th beginning at 10:00
a.m. Funeral Service will take
place at St. Luke’s Anglican Church in Frenchman’s
Cove on Wednesday, August 15 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St.
Luke’s Anglican Cemetery in Frenchman’s
Cove.
In Mr. Tapper’s
memory, donations may be made to St. Luke’s Anglican Church
in Frenchman’s Cove or flowers gratefully
accepted.
