OBITUARY
Donald Joseph Godin
24 January , 1950 – 12 October , 2018
Donald “Don” Godin of Point-La-Nim, born in Dalhousie on January 24, 1950, son of the late Treffle Godin and the late Clara Doucet, passed away at Campbellton Regional Hospital from lung cancer on October 12, 2018 at the age of 68.
He worked as a projectionist/manager at Paramount Theater until retirement.
He is Survived by his wife Susan Godin (Anderson) of Campbellton; daughters Lisa Godin (Steve) of Nova Scotia and Katie Godin (Daniel) of Bathurst; three brothers, Joe Godin of Campbellton, William Godin(Marion) of Ontario; Roger Godin of B.C.; four sisters, Jeannette Arseneault of Dalhousie; Eileen Drapeau of Eel River; Theresa Scott(Robert) of B.C.; Geraldine Scott(John) of Alberta; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Gerald and Danny and his four sisters, Charlotte, Leona, Barbara, and Vivian.
Funeral Service will be at Maher’s Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St., Campbellton, NB. Friday October 19th at 2:00 pm with visitation from 1:00 pm until time of service at the Chapel.
Donations to the Restigouche SPCA (165 Baybreeze Drive, Dalhousie, NB E8C 1E4 – Tel 506-684-4396) would be appreciated by the family.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Campbellton.
