Obituary of Dina TeWinkel
TeWINKEL: Dina Willemina ‘Mien’ (nee Lammers) –
A resident of Blenheim, the Lord peacefully took away Mien TeWinkel on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the age of 90.
Born in Aalten, The Netherlands, Mien was the daughter of the late Derk and Hendrika (Knuvers) Lammers.
Beloved wife of 56 years to the late Derk TeWinkel (2009).
Loving mother of John TeWinkel and his wife Janet of R.R. # 1 Ridgetown Hetty TeWinkel of Blenheim, Derk TeWinkel and his wife Lori of R.R.#4 Blenheim, Bernie TeWinkel and his wife Rolien of Tilbury, Gerald TeWinkel and his friend Debbie of Blenheim, Nancy Talbot and her husband Bryan of Burlington, and predeceased by son William TeWinkel (1965).
Proud Oma of Erin TeWinkel-Tate (Scott), Paul TeWinkel, Lindsay TeWinkel (Todd Picard), and Sean TeWinkel.
Great-Oma to Miles and Finn Tate.
Dear sister to John Lammers of Chatham. Predeceased by her siblings Herman Lammers, Willem Lammers, Berta VanderStoap and Henk Lammers.
Sadly missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Mien was an active member at the Blenheim Christian Reformed Church. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Friday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held from the Blenheim Christian Reformed Church, 286 Chatham St. S., Blenheim at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 with Pastor Tim Luimes officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Mien to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Blenheim Christian Reformed Church would be appreciated.
