Obituary of Dieter Marlikowski
June 21, 1946 – April 21, 2018
Dieter Marlikowski was born in Bamberg Germany on June 21, 1946 and passed away on April 21, 2018 at the age of 71. He came to Canada in 1952 with his mom and sister on the boat to Halifax and then moved to the Oshawa, Whitby area and from there moved to British Columbia and Alberta.
Dieter was a mechanic and could fix anything. He also drove transport trucks for a short time and was a dr. that could doctor an animal or whatever was needed to be fixed. Dieter had a great sense of humor and was a great friend and listener.
Dieter is survived by his mom, Margot, sister Ericka, brother-in-law Ralph, sister Brigitte, brother-in-law Joe, and their families; his wife Tammy, sons Michael, Andrew, Danny and family, Robby and family, Karen; mom-in-law Carrol, father-in-law John and Sue; sisters and brothers-in-law and his fur baby Emma.
Dieter was predeceased by his dad in 1995; his grandparents and aunts from Germany.
A Celebration of Life for Dieter will be held at a later date, in the summer.
Memorial donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
