Diane Elizabeth Carolyn Gratton
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving Diane Gratton (nee Simpson) on August 21, 2018 at the age of 69. Cherished wife and best friend of George. Beloved mother of Billy MacAdoo (Lisa), stepmother of Nicole Timchuk (Alan), and Dana Gratton. Loving sister of Derrol Simpson, Donna Doyle, Jack Simpson (Ruth), Ted Simpson and Sherri White (Fred). Loving Nanny to Liam and MacKaleigh MacAdoo, Wade and Cole Timchuk, and her always loyal dog Sophie. Cherished by several nieces and nephews. Greatly missed by many close friends. Predeceased by mother Vera Smith, father Clifford Simpson, and stepson Brett Gratton.
Thank you to the LHIN staff, the wonderful caregivers from Saint Elizabeth and the Providence Care Hospital staff who provided support for Diane.
Family and friends will be received at the Township Chapel of the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME, 435 Davis Drive (Centennial Dr. and Taylor-Kidd Blvd) from 3-4 p.m. on Tuesday August 28th 2018. Words of Remembrance to be held in The Chapel at 4 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow from 5-8 p.m. at the Kingston Curling Club, 130 Days Road, Kingston.
