CIOTTI, Dezolena “Zoli”– Peacefully at the F.J. Davey home on Sunday, May 27, 2018 in her 106th year. Beloved wife of the late John “Sockeye”. Loving mother of Carmel DelBel (late Leo), Norman Ciotti (Geraldine) and Richard Ciotti (Bonnie). Cherished Noni of Leo John DelBel (late Laura), Leah Tadashore (Enzo), Theresa Laurenti (Dario), Lorrie DelBel (Kathy), Geraldine LeClair (David), Paul DelBel, Carmel-Lynn Ciotti (Dan Flint), Mark Ciotti (Paula), Brenda Saunders (Robbie), Norman Ciotti (Renée), Bryan Ciotti (Brigette), Krista Nicholson (Brad) and Michael Ciotti (Jenny). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews of the Ciotti and Delvecchio families. Mom was recognized by the family to be the matriarch and was an inspiration to all of us. Her family was guided by her words of wisdom. She was a member of the Legion of Mary, the Catholic Woman’s League and the Marconi Society. Dezolena was also an active member of the prayer line at St. Jerome’s. She was very well respected and was known as the historian for the West End. With her sharp memory she could easily tell you dates, events, people’s names of the past and provide you with a full weather report. Funeral arrangements to be announced. Memorial contributions to ARCH or the F.J. Davey Home Foundation would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the 3rd Floor Birch Lane PSW’s, especially Pam and Jessica and the nursing staff, especially Rebecca and Rochelle. Special thanks to Dr. Paterson from the F.J. Davey Home. Family and friends are invited to share their fond memories of Zoli by writing in her memory book that will be provided at the funeral home.
