OBITUARY
Dennis Fernand Marenger
28 June , 1948 – 28 April , 2018
MARENGER, Dennis Fernand – Passed away peacefully with family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer on April 28, 2018 at the age of 69. Dennis has been reunited with his beloved wife Sharon. Loving dad to Kim Brownlee, Laurie Brownlee (Ian Black), Lindsay Marenger (Helen Umolac), Kelly Ozeroff (Dean), and Denise Hay (Angus). Predeceased by his two children Marny-Jo Brownlee and Ian Marenger. Special dad in law to Dawn. Loving grandpa to Cameron Brownlee (Brittany Pearson), Marci McQuade (Alex Hill-Stosky), Rebecca McQuade (Juraj Antonak), Allison McQuade (Braiden Gordon), Mariah and Tristan Marenger, Sebastian and Lucas Hay. Great grandpa to Madison, Alora and Samuel Hill-Stosky, late Eva Gordon. Much loved brother of Wayne Marenger (late Lynda), Randy Marenger and Lori Marenger-Nelson (Chris). Predeceased by his parents Buck and Theresa Marenger. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. As per Dennis’s wishes there will be no visitation. A private family celebration to lay Dennis and Sharon to rest will be held at a later date. All his life Dennis was a die-hard Maple Leaf fan and took plenty of ribbing for it, but his faith in his Leaf’s never wavered. GO LEAFS GO!! Memorial contributions to the SAH Cancer Clinic, Tracy’s Dream or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to Dr. Rassouli, Dr. Booth, special nurses Brandy and Paula, the Algoma District Cancer Clinic and the PSW’s who helped out. You are all angels on earth!!
