Peter Joachim Dennert went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, while surrounded by his family.
He will be sadly missed by the love of his life, Penny, his wife of 42 years, their children, Shallon (Jason), Carl (Paula), and Aaron, their 4 grandchildren – Logan, Jack, Caitie, and Emma; as well as by his sister Ingrid, brother Fred, and his many friends.
Peter graduated from UBC, in 1973, as an electrical engineer. He was employed by B.C. Tel/Telus for over 30 years. He was an avid badminton player, he played and competed for over 60 years. Peter was also an avid golfer, fisherman and loved his roses.
Fondest memories include, family vacations and numerous fishing vacations to Puntzi Lake in the Cariboo.
Peter and his family would like to thank Dr. Ketch, the Cancer Clinic, Palliative Care nurses and care team.
No service by request. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Canadian Cancer Society, designated to pancreatic research in memory of Peter Dennert.
