Delbert

Eyre
March 29, 1952 – May 7, 2018
Delbert Ray Eyre passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Grande Prairie, Alberta at the age of 66.
Del was born March 29, 1952 in Lethbridge, Alberta to Walter and Bella Eyre. He had a dedication to his football career and to his bandmates of ‘The Scarlet Creamsicle’. Although he worked as a partsman for numerous years, his true passion was out on the golf course.
He will be remembered by many as a band mate, a football player, a fisherman, a golfer, as big hearted and jolly and of course as a Grandpa and Father. We will all miss his quaint sayings, his humor, his famous saying: “I think I will take a nap. ” and his overall love for his family and friends.
The Eyre family invites you to join them in a Celebration of Life for this amazing man. We will be gathering at Bear Creek Funeral Home/Richmond Reception Center, 11802 99 Ave, Grande Prairie, Alberta on May 24th at 1:00pm.
Care entrusted to Bear Creek Funeral Home 780-830-7742 www.bearcreekfuneral.com
