OBITUARY
Deborah Lynn Archbold
July 27, 1970 – November 10, 2018
On Saturday November 10th, 2018, at the age of 48, Debbie
Archbold passed away peacefully after her very brave battle
with cancer. She was a very loving and wonderful wife to
Chris and an amazing, protective mom to Megan and Dylan.
They shared so many memorable family trips and times
together that will live in their hearts forever. She was a loving
daughter to Sue and the best big sister to Kathy and Darcy.
Her in-laws, Tony and Maureen, loved Debbie like a daughter.
Gerald, Marla, and Andrew were so special to her as her
extended family. Cody, Bee, Katie, Calvin, Riley, and
Eiddwen will never forget how special she made them all feel.
Debbie was predeceased by her Dad, Rick. She also leaves
behind many grieving friends.
“In life, we leave a legacy to our children, we leave our
footprints wherever we travel, and we leave our fingerprints
on every heart we touch.”
Debbie would look at you with those beautiful blue eyes and
flash that big bright smile and you couldn’t help but want to be
her friend and spend time in her presence. She was so
strong, kind, genuine, and positive. Debbie made a few posts
on Facebook to update her friends about her health. She
never felt sorry for herself or gave in to the power of cancer.
She fought so incredibly bravely and helped others face her
health the same way. These are her words from one of her
posts, “So I am not writing to ask for sympathy, but more or
less to say how lucky I am. I have a great life, a wonderful
family and many wonderful friends. As most of you know I
battled the biggest and most challenging part of my life last
year with being diagnosed with breast cancer. I stayed very
positive and never gave up… I refuse to sink”
Debbie’s celebration of life will take place at 1pm on Saturday
November 24th at Victory Memorial Park 14831 28th Ave.,
Surrey. There will be a casual reception with light
refreshments and snacks to follow.
There will be a memory box available for guests to drop
notes, cards, photos for the family.
