EMBERG, David Roderick (Pinky)
Born on February 24, 1927, David (Pinky) Emberg passed away peacefully on December 3, 2018 at the age of 91.
Left to cherish his memory are his children; Rod (Marilyn), Don (Lyn), Lorie, Norma (George) and Terri (Doug); nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren as well as numerous family and friends.
David was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Aileen in 2010 and son Malcolm in 2016.
He worked as a yard master on the NAR for 36 years where he developed many lifelong friendships.
David loved to spend time outdoors gardening, fishing, time at the lake. An animal lover he always had a pet and enjoyed walking his dogs, quiet time with his cats and was happiest riding his treasured Arabian, Eagle Magic(Maggie).
Most important to Dad was his family & friends. He was a kind man always willing to help a neighbor. He liked nothing better than spending time with family & friends over a good meal. Dad was a happy man who loved to laugh – the sound of his laughter will live in our hearts forever.
The family is sincerely grateful to the staff at St. Michael’s for the respect and kindness shown to Dad while in their care.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of David Pinky Roderick Emberg 2018..
