Puddicome, David Joseph March 2, 1946 – January 14, 2018
We are heart broken to announce that after a long illness our much-loved husband and dad David Joseph Puddicome passed away suddenly on Sunday January 14, 2018.
Predeceased by his parents Mary and Bill Puddicome; brother Bill Jr; father and mother-in-law Harold and Marie King; sister-in-law Gertrude Butt.
Left to mourn his devoted wife of 37 years and caretaker Marilyn; two wonderful sons Brad (Gillian) and Todd; sister-in-law Pauline Puddicome; niece Nancy Hodder(Steve); brother-in-law Hayward Butt; sister-in-law Eloise Hynes (Glenn) and brother-in-law John King (Bridget) as well as many other relatives and friends.
Visits from the family kids and grand-dogs made his day.
Special thanks to Todd Head his homecare worker, for the excellent care and his ability to always make Dave laugh. And also to Cecilia for her special time spent with Dave.
Thanks to his cousin Diane (Rick) Alonzo, B.C., His long time buddy Del Pawliuk (Karen) ON; Terry and Paulette Roberts ON for visiting Dave and keeping in touch. Also special thanks to Dr. Misik for his expert care. The Community Health nurses for their care and dedication. Also thanks to the O/T department at the Miller Centre.
No visitation by request of the family.
Funeral mass to take place from St. Patrick’s Church on Wednesday January 17, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Dave’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
