The passing of David John Brown of Fredericton, NB, husband of Janice (Moore) Brown occurred on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on October 29, 1964 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Frederick and Gertrude (Mabie) Brown. He worked in Records Management at NB Power. David was a member of the Word of Faith Family Church. He enjoyed watching movies, especially Star Wars, liked NASCAR, video games, airplanes and trains.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by his daughter, Alyssa Brown (James) of St. John’s, NL; son, Alex Brown (Kyle) of Fredericton, NB; brother, Tony Brown (Doris) of Fredericton, NB; aunts, Edith Mabie and Deliah Hachey; uncle, Carl Mabie (Donna); several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his mother in law, Florence Moore.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 6-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at Word of Faith Family Church on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Gary Bitely officiating. Interment will take place in Fredericton Rural Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
