OBITUARY
David Harold Gjos
March 14, 1956 – June 19, 2018
GJOS, David Harold – (Super Dave) Peacefully at home on Tuesday June 19, 2018 at the age of 62 with family at his side. Loving husband, best friend and hero of Patti for 24 years. Devoted father of Sarah, Lucas (Tiffany Senko) and Rebecca. Beloved son of the late Harold Rudy Gjos and Florence Susan (Gerry) Shewfelt (Milton). Dear brother of Suzanne Evoy (Paul), Beverly Wing (Mick) and Timmy Gjos (Barb). Son-in-law of Gerald and Lynn Wickett. Brother-in-law of Bud Wickett. Much loved uncle of Beth Stevens (Rod), Johnny Evoy (Andrea), Megan Barban (Luke), Rudy Gjos, Keegan Gjos (Lindsay Wonnacott), Morgan Gjos, and Liam Wickett. David will also be missed by many close friends and relatives. A private graveside service is being held at the Desbarats Cemetery. A celebration of David’s life will be held on Thursday July 12, 2018 at the Elks Lodge in Echo Bay beginning at 4 pm with a celebration ceremony at 5 pm and reception to follow. Our journey with brain cancer has inspired the formation of a non-profit befittingly named the Dave Gjos Foundation. Our Foundation is committed to advocating and supporting those living with brain cancer. Memorial contributions will be accepted at the celebration of life and are greatly appreciated.
