It is with great sadness that the family of the late David Curtis, age 70 years, of Carter’s Cove, NL announce his passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Wednesday, October 24, 2018.
He is predeceased by his parents Bert & Minnie, first wife Dorothy, brothers Lester (Maude) Curtis, Freeman (Loretta) Curtis, and brothers-in-law Gerald Wall, Junior Boyde and Jim Fisher.
Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Jessie, children Dean (Linda), Deana (Andrew) Gorley, Derrick (Emma), 6 grandchildren Jake & Tiffany Hann, Sara Burry-Curtis, John, Joseph and Jordan Curtis, 1 great-granddaughter Alice, sibilings Alonzo (Michelle), Albert (Judy), Lillian Fisher, Margaret Wall, and Maisie (Raymond) Hawkins as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
Resting at the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Carter’s Cove, NL with public visitation on Thursday, October 25, 2018 and Friday, October 26, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the church on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor A. Stanley officiating.
Donations in David’s memory may be given to his family.
