David Keys passed away suddenly at the Halifax Infirmary Jan 14, 2018. Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Walter and Anna Keys.
Dave was employed by CN for over 30 yrs Avid hockey and baseball player in his youth. He loved his time in Margaree and with his dogs.
David is survived by his wife Glenda (Andrews), sons Aaron and Breton, brothers Eric, George, and Bruce.
Reception for family and friends will be held on Wednesday January 17, from 7-9 pm at the Sackville Community Center, Connelly Drive, Middle Sackville. A Celebration of David’s Life will be held on Friday, January 19 at 3 pm at S.W. Chant’s Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra Street, Sydney. Family flowers only please. Donations can be made to the Halifax Infirmary Emergency Department through the QEII Health Sciences Center Foundation
