Lamka, David Anthony (Owner – A to Z Quality Mobile Signs)
Passed away peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital on Friday, October 19, 2018 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Catherine for 44 years. Son of the late Jane and Donald Lamka and son-in-law of the late Mary and John Hamilton. Loving nephew of Sister Audrey Marie Mittelholtz and the late Sister Dorothy Mittelholtz. Dear brother of Audrey (Dennis), Billy, Mike (Debbie), Cathy (Bruce), Theresa, Fran (Norm), Brenda (Ron), Rob (Shardell) and brother-in-law of John (Bonnie), Rick, Mike and the late Georgina. Loving godfather of Carrie (Barry) and uncle of Kate (Chris), Eric (Sarah), Matthew, Matthew, Nicholas and several other nephews and nieces. Sadly missed by his furry friend Elvis.
Dave’s family will receive relatives and friends from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018 with a prayer service at 8:30 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony Daniel Church, 29 Midland Dr., on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 1 p.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Parish Life Centre. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Grand River Hospital Foundation – Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
