Darrell Irving Marshall
Marshall, Darrell Irving – age 56 of Dartmouth. It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Darrell Irving Marshall, on December 20, 2018. He left this world peacefully with his sister and wife by his side. Born in New Glasgow on May 19, 1962, Darrell is survived by his loving wife, Eleanor “Cindy” Elizabeth Grace (MacLean); father, Irving Alexander Marshall; mother, Carol Doreen (Tibbetts); brother, Reginald Darren Marshall; sister, Carla Frances Hajnal (Steven). For 28 years Darrell was a caring and loving husband. He had many types of jobs throughout his lifetime ending up as a Sales Representative for Staples. He enjoyed many happy get-togethers with friends and family. He was a true entertainer and loved to tell many jokes and listen to loud music. Darrell loved playing golf, table pool and darts. He also, enjoyed watching many hockey, football, baseball games. His favorite hockey team is the Montreal Canadiens – his cheers could be heard all the way from Cole Harbour. Darrell believed in “Pay it Forward Movement”. He would often purchase coffee for other customers ahead of him in line at Tim Horton’s which could lead that person to do the same for the person behind them and so on. As requested there will be no visitation. Funeral Service will be held on December 28, 2018, 11 a.m. in Atlantic Funeral Homes, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada or a charity of your choice.
