DARLENE GRACE LANG
1950-2018
After a courageous battle with cancer, with her husband and best friend Jim and the love of her family by her side at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, November 29, 2019, Darlene Grace (Lumley) Lang of Vienna and formerly of Owen Sound, passed away at the age of 68 years. Wife of Jim for 51 wonderful years. Proud and loving mother of David Lang and his wife Bernadette of Brantford and Kerri Lang of Bolton. Cherished grandmother of Hayden Juneau of Bolton and Ashley Juneau of Barrie. Beloved daughter of Joyce Lumley of Tillsonburg. Dear sister of Terry Lumley and Leslie of Haliburton, Patti Evans and Robert of Delhi and Nancy Barber (Paul) of Tillsonburg. Darlene is also survived her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father George Lumley. Darlene will be missed by all who knew her. Friends and relatives will be received at Peace Lutheran Church, 60 Young Street, Tillsonburg on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Schallhorn officiating. Interment will be held at Annan Cemetery in Owen Sound on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
