Obituary of Danny Leduc
LEDUC, Daniel Ross
Surrounded by his loving family by his side on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the age of 78. Much loved Dad to Blair (Lauri), Dayna (Tony) Van Deyl and Brad (Lori). Very proud Papa of Reilly, Ethan and Liam. Loving big brother to Nancy (Billy) Hogan, Linda Allen, Janice (Robert) Hill, and Bonnie (Terry) Patterson. Danny will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Ross and Dora Leduc.
Danny worked at GM for over 30 years. After his retirement, he was passionate about his business, Duke’s Kaddy Clinic, where he repaired, refurbished and sold electric golf carts. He was longtime member of Twenty Valley Golf Club and an active parishioner at St. Alfred’s Church. Danny loved watching hockey and golf. He will be remembered for his love of chocolate, his strong work ethic, the pride he took in his yard and for his kindness.
Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Tuesday, February 6 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, February 7 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation.
