Passed away at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the age of 41. Beloved son of Maria and Manuel. Adored brother of Deborah Raposo-Pennisi (Samy) and treasured uncle of Samuel and Luca. Danny was a very special friend to many including the incredible nursing staff at Juravinski, who provided dedicated loving care for four years. He will be dearly missed by godparents Odilia and Raul Machado, aunt DelFina Arruda, uncle and aunt Serafim and Maria dos Anjos Raposo, aunt and uncle Lurdes and Antero Pereira and many loving cousins and friends. He will forever be remembered as “Dan the Man”.Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 2:30-4:30 and 6-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil at 8:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway 8, Stoney Creek, on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. Interment at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
