It is with great sadness that we, the family of Daniel Lynk, 85, announce his passing at the Cape Breton
Regional Hospital on July 2, 2018.
He was a son of the late Anthony Lynk and Anne Lynk (Lathigee).
Dannie worked for many years at the Sydney Coke Ovens. He enjoyed dancing, music and the casino.
He is survived by his sons, Wayne (Brenda), Gerrard and Martin (Margie); brother Joseph, many
grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his first wife, Mary; his longtime partner, Mary Kehoe, brothers, James, Andrew
and Thomas and sister, Elizabeth.
Visitation for Dannie will be held today, July 4, 2018, from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 p.m. at S.W. Chant and Son
Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra Street, Sydney. A Celebration of his Life will be held the following day,
Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant to officiate.
Donations in loving memory of Dannie may be made to the charity of your choice.
