Daniel “Dan” McKrow
It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of Dan at his home at the age of 68 on July 16th, 2018. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend Linda (James). Pre-deceased by wife Sharon. Wonderful father to Sean & Genie McKrow, Kelly McKrow, Tracey & Mike Kitcoff and Kevin James. Cherished grandpa to Jaylin McKrow and special Gran-Dan to Jaclyn, Julia, Owen, Ben and Joey Kitcoff. Loving brother to Tom & Allyson McKrow, Brenda & the late Patrick McKrow, Cathy & Nick Muro, Liz & Jamie Doster. Also loved by brothers and sisters-in-law Mary & Jim Maitre, Carol & Roger McLean. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his parents Frank & Angela, and infant son Sean. He will be truly missed by many friends and will always be cherished in his family’s hearts. Dan worked as a supervisor for Ford Motor Company. He was an avid golfer at Beach Grove Golf and Country Club and Kelly Greens in Florida, he enjoyed fishing and was very loyal to his church. He proudly served on the Es Kent Golf committee for many years. Dan loved spending his winters in Florida lying on the beach with a cold drink in his hand, surrounded by friends and family.
To honour Dan’s life a donation to the Windsor Regional Hospital Cancer Centre or the Downtown Mission would be greatly appreciated.
Visitation Thursday 2-5pm & 7-9pm with Parish Prayers at 4:30pm at FAMILIES FIRST 1065 LAUZON RD. East Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Friday, friends and family may meet after 10am followed by Mass at 11am at Good Shepherd Parish (462 Advance Blvd, Tecumseh). Burial to follow Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
