With great sadness the family of Diana Joyce Krumrie announce her unexpected passing at her home on October 17, 2018. She was born on September 1, 1943 in Parrsboro, NS to the late William and Isabella (Anderson) Krumrie.
Joyce worked in the food service industry for many years until the birth of her children, when she chose to stay at home to raise them. She was a loving and caring person who was very devoted to her family; a single mom doing the job of two and doing it very well. She loved to laugh, loved to dance and hang out with her friends, she was stubborn and held grudges, but was a lot of fun. She loved to go for long drives listening to her country music, and let it all go. She will be forever missed by those who had the opportunity to meet her and spend time with her, most of all by her loving family.
Joyce is survived by her 4 children; Gary, Rory, Charlotte and Bernice (Kevin Duplessis), precious grandchildren; Kevin Jr., Emma, Shanice, Samantha, Alicia, Randy, Cecil, Wayne and Aubrey, her brothers; Charles, Madson and Raymond, sisters; Carrie, Dora and Rosie, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers William and Keith, sisters Jean and Althea and sister-in-law Jeannie Krumrie.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd., Saint John, NB (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 11am-1pm. At 1:30pm following visitation, a Celebration of Joyce’s Life will be held in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. For those who wish, memorial donations made in Joyce’s name to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
