Obituary of Czeslaw Pawlowski
It is with great sadness we announce that Czeslaw Pawlowski, age 72, passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa on December 14th with his wife Maria, daughter Agata, and friends by his side. As a strong and willful Taurus, Czes’ body was as stubborn as his soul in his battle with cancer and he persevered to his very last moments. Czes was born in Poland on May 17, 1946 to Augustyn and Czeslawa Pawlowski. He immigrated to Kingston, Ontario in 1981 and became a Canadian citizen in 1989. Czes is survived by his wife Maria, daughter Agata, and brothers Jerzy and Augustyn. He is predeceased by his son Jakub, daughters Lidia and Iwona, and his parents. Czes was a proud husband and father, and a trusted friend. He was a craftsman in his trade as an electrical technician and dedicated to his career. Czes had a light heart and was always joking around, striving to put smiles on the faces of all those around him. May he be remembered as kind, generous, loyal, humble, and appreciative. Family and friends are invited to come together to share memories and celebrate Czes’ life on Sunday December 23rd from 1-3pm at Humphrey’s Funeral Home on Bayview. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided. Please refrain from sending flowers. If you wish, donations may be made in Czes’ name to the Lakeridge Health Cancer Centre, who took tremendous care of Czes’ and Maria. Memorial donation slips will be made available at the service on Dec. 23rd. Alternatively, you can visit the following website and follow the links to make a donation (lakeridgehealthfoundation.com ), or you can call the Lakeridge Health Foundation at 905-433-4339.

The one that could not stay
With a flash of illusion
Oh the big one that got away”
