Cross – Eileen A., 68, of Mersey Point, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Thursday, August 23, 2018.
Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Herman Jollimore and Sadie Wamboldt.
Eileen worked for the former New System Laundry, Liverpool. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting as well as word search puzzles and was an avid bingo player. Eileen was also known for her cooking and coffee time at the local McDonalds. She will be lovingly remembered as an excellent wife, mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years Judson; her daughter Paula (Vance) Whynot of Cold Lake, AB; her sons Judson of Aylesford, John of Wilmont and Benjamin of Digby. Her grandchildren Judson “JC”, Christopher, Ryan, Lyndsay, Lauren, Rebecca, Zachery, Kyle and Sierra. Her great grandson Everett. Her sisters Susan (Tony) Hynick of Liverpool and Shirley Moreau of Port Medway. Her brothers Herbie Wamboldt of Beach Meadows; Carl Wamboldt and Sherman Wamboldt, both of Trenton.
Eileen was predeceased by her sisters Clara Parnell and Catherine Hannam and her brother Cecil Wamboldt.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral home Liverpool. Visitation will be Monday, August 27, 2018 from 7 until 9 p.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
