It is with the deepest sadness that Cord’s family and friends announce his sudden passing.
Cord was fiercely independent and strong-willed and in contrast was also easy-going and good-natured. He was his own man every step of the way.
Cord will be missed for his quick wit, fun-loving spirit and even for the way he would antagonize you, purely… for his own entertainment. He loved many genres of music and comedy acts of all types and was always eager to share his new discoveries with others. Even though it caused him great discomfort, he was as attached to his constant companion and little buddy, ‘Beans’, as she was to him.
He is survived by his father, Rick MacLean (Donna Gregg), mother, Lori Carter, his brother, Garrett MacLean (Samantha O’Brien), many aunts, uncles, cousins and close and dear friends. He was loved greatly and his passing creates a void that will never be filled.
All are invited to a Remembrance Gathering in celebration of Cord, our love of him and the many ways he affected our lives. Please join us to share ‘Cord stories’ or just to say ‘Oh, Hey’…..please bring any photos that you’d like to share as we remember all the good times with Cord.
The Remembrance Gathering will be held June 9, 2018 at the Okotoks Elks Club, Main Hall, 58 Elizabeth Street, Okotoks. Drop in anytime between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in memory of Cord be made to AADAC.
