Constance “Connie” Scholten
1948-2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of
Constance “Connie” (Elliott) Scholten on November 30, 2018,
at Hospice House Fredericton surrounded by her loving family. Born on
December 8, 1948 in Marysville, NB, she was the daughter of the late
Norbert and Pauline (Brien) Elliott.
She will be greatly missed by her children Craig (Megan) and
Leigh Scholten (Shawn Flemming); grandchildren Cassie and Quinn
Scholten as well as extended family, her life long friends and
coworkers from the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital.
In addition to her parents, Connie is predeceased by her
husband Herman Scholten.
A special thank you goes to Dr. Tom Barry, as well as nurses
and staff of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital and Hospice House
Fredericton for their excellent care of Connie.
A memorial gathering will be held at McAdam’s
Funeral Home on Monday, December 3, 2018 from 5 – 8 pm, with
prayers being said by Fr. Bill Brennan at 6:30 pm. Interment will take
place at Alexander Gibson Memorial Cemetery at a later date. Memorial
donations may be made to Hospice House Fredericton.
