Bowyer, Constance “Connie”.
Passed away at Woodhaven Long Term Care, Markham, on Friday, August
10, 2018, at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late George
Francis Bowyer (April 15, 1991). Dear mother of The Rev’d Canon
David Bowyer (Karen) and Edward Bowyer (Nancy). Cherished grandmother
of Willi Bowyer (Bethany), The Rev’d Daniel Bowyer (Sarah),
Jacki Bowyer- Morrison (Jamie), Julie Sarre, Marlo Rose (Travis) and
to 8 great grandchildren. Survived by her sister-in-law Fran Law
(Bob), nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Clement and
Elizabeth (Akers) Clarke and her siblings Ellen, Sonny, Leonard and
Norm as well as their spouses and brother-in-law Bill Bowyer
(Madolyn).
Connie was born 13 December 1928 in East York and was a longtime
resident of Scarborough. She was a devoted parishioner of St. John
the Divine Church in Scarborough and an active member of its
A.C.W..
Memorial Service will be held at on Wednesday 15 August at 11:00 am at
St John the Baptist Church, Norway, 470 Woodbine Avenue, Toronto.
Interment will be held at St. John’s Norway Cemetery.
In memory of Connie, donations to Primate’s World Relief and
Development Fund, 80 Hayden St, Toronto, ON M4Y 3G2 would be
appreciated by the family.
Arrangements under the direction of Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas
Street N., Cambridge.
