Obituary for Conrad Wilhelm “Wim” van Kuilenburg
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mr. Conrad Wilhelm ‘Wim’ van Kuilenburg of Innisfail, Alberta, at his home, on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the age of 70 years. Wim was born on October 10, 1947 in Ophemert, the Betuwe, the Netherlands and was the youngest of six children. He was always with his animals and loved gymnastics. Wim milked his first cow at a young age which led him to become an avid dairy farmer for fifty-five years. He took great pride in his herd and family farm. He was a loving husband, father and an amazing Opa.

Wim will be lovingly remembered by his wife of thirty-five years, Lenette, daughter, Maaike van Kuilenburg, son, Jon (Rhian) van Kuilenburg, grandson, Liam van Kuilenburg, sister, Lia (Joost) Post, and brother, Jan (Wilma) van Kuilenburg; as well as many nieces, nephews and very close friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Jan and Rika van Kuilenburg and brothers, Adri, Kees and Henny. A Celebration of Wim’s Life will be held at the Innisfail United Church, 4720 – 48 Avenue, Innisfail, Alberta on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Wim’s honor may be made directly to the Innisfail Food Bank, PO Box 6084, Innisfail, Alberta, T4G 1S7.
