Conrad Phyllis Irene, 90, of Liverpool passed away peacefully in Queens Manor, Liverpool, N.S. Friday, November 2nd, 2018.
Born in Mount Pleasant, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Myrna (Baker) Conrad.
In her early years, Phyllis worked summers at White Point Beach Lodge. She also worked for one of the local banks in Liverpool, then attended secretarial school in Bridgewater. Phyllis worked as an executive secretary at the Halifax Shipyards in the employment office for over 35 years. Phyllis enjoyed spending her summers camping at Sherwood Forest in Coldbrook and travelled extensively throughout North America and the Caribbean. Phyllis loved cats, casinos and chocolate sundaes at the Dairy Treat.
Phyllis is survived by her niece Lynn Christiani of Epson Downs, UK, her nephews, Greg (Lin) Conrad and Reid (Sharilyn) Conrad, both of Liverpool and several great and great great nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was predeceased by her brothers Gerald and Elroy.
Visitation will be Monday, November 5, 2018 from 9 until 10 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at 10:00 a.m. A private family burial will be in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bog Road, Liverpool with Reverend Cherry Workman officiating.
