Connie Kendall 19292018

Connie Kendall
1929-2018
On December 10th, 2018 we lost our beloved mother,
grandmother and friend, Constance Grace Kendall (Hubbard) of Sus
NB, after a brief illness in the Sus Health Centre.
She was born in Bonny River, NB February 8th 1929, the
daughter of the late DeLang and Catherine Hubbard (Fraser). She was
the wife of the late Charles Gordon Kendall.
At the age of 10 Connie lost her mother. Connie and her 6
brothers and sisters went to the Orphanage in Saint John NB, until the
age of 15, when she returned home to work as a housekeeper, and later
was employed at Sims Brush Factory where she met her husband
Charlie. They later moved to their home on the Parleeville
Road in Norton NB for over 50 years. Here is where they had a small
farm and raised their family.
Connie was an amazing cook and could create a meal out of
anything, for anybody at anytime! She worked in many restaurants in
and around Sus for many years, until her retirement. She
was a lay reader in her church, as well as a past president of the
Norton Seniors Group, a member of the Red Hatters, and a member of the
Waterford Seniors. Connies greatest joy and number one
priority was her family. You didnt necessarily have to be blood
related to be considered family.
She will be missed by her seven children Gordon &
Tina Kendall of Cold Lake AB, Sylvia & Claude Sprague of Largo
Florida, Cathy & Bob Parlee of McGregor Brook, James &
Colleen of Mink Lake Ontario, Dawn & Geoff Main of Sus,
Dianne & Kevin Kendall of Wilmot Nova Scotia, and Mike Kendall
