Forever in Our Memories
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Connie on October 18, 2018 at the age of 83 years. Connie passed away peacefully with both her daughters by her side. She is re-united with her husband Edward who has been waiting for her to join him for 23 years. The mother of Heather, and her husband Rick Lincourt and Fiona, and her husband Graham Johnston. Grandmother of Rhiannon Johnston, Mackenzie Bauer, Courtney Bauer, and Molly Martin-Bauer. Great Grandmother of Jack Longtin and Edward Russell. Admired sister of Olive Arbuckle, John Tooth (pre-deceased), Gordon Tooth (pre- deceased), Markland Tooth and Margaret Tooth. Connie will be remembered as a woman of innovation and forward thinking who founded Tiny Tim Developmental School in 1974, and was instrumental in the integration of children with special needs into educational settings. She will be remembered fondly for her compassion and unique sense of humor. In keeping with Connie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Her family invites you to North Bramalea United Church (363 Howden Blvd., Brampton) on December 29, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 for a time of Remembrance to share snacks and stories about Connie with them. In lieu of flowers, donations to Gilmore Lodge, where she lived the last few years, would be appreciated by the family. Cheques can be made payable to “Gilmore Lodge” and can be mailed to Gilmore Lodge, 50 Gilmore Road, Fort Erie ON, L2A 2M1.
