Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. Colombe Bourdeau (née Rose) of Lancaster; age 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Jacques Bourdeau. Loving mother of Gisèle Bazinet (Larry Spinella) of Cornwall, Suzanne Sonnenberg (Fred) of Bainsville, Joanne MacDonald (Dwain) of Williamstown, Jacques (Alejandro Meraz-Garza) of Ottawa, and Linda Dickie (Brian) of Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of Lynn (Pascal), Travis (Elizabeth), Shawn (Allison), Morgan (Joe), Corey, Lyanne and Katherine, and great-grandmother of Samuel, Nathaniel, Deegan, Brooklyn, Kennedy, Kerrigan, Owen and Amelia. Dear sister of Denis Rose (Micheline) of Lancaster. Predeceased by one sister Rita Scase (late Ken), one brother Raymond Rose (Pierette of Lancaster), and by her parents Alcide and Jeanne Rose (née Dupuis). Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St. Lancaster (613-347-3629) on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 am -10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Lancaster on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11 am. Spring Interment Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Colombe a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
