Colmán O’Hare, born in Newry, County Down, Ireland, and
most recently of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, aged 75, passed
away suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, September 7,
2018. He leaves his wife of 47 years, Barbara (Janz) O’Hare, a
son Liam (Roseanne), daughters Áine (Ian) and Caitilín,
and granddaughter Katherine. He also leaves a brother Brian (JoAnn).
Predeceased by his parents Felix and Elizabeth (McCaughey)
O’Hare, and father and mother-in-law William and Frances
(Austgen) Janz.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Thursday at 9:30 a.m. then to
St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m.
Visitation Wednesday 4-7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the
Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation or the St. Vincent de Paul Society
– St. Dunstan’s Basilica.
