Joyce Standish passed away peacefully in Sherbrooke, Quebec on May 17, 2018 at the age of 94. She was born Jan 9, 1924 in Manchester, England, the daughter of the late Charles Clayton and the late Martha King. She was the loving wife of the late Donald Standish of Cookshire. She leaves to mourn her daughters Carol (Harold Sangster) of Aberdeen, Scotland, Patricia (Allan Lee) of Whiterock, B.C. and Donna (Peter deGroot) of Richmond, B.C. Cherished grandmother of Petrina and Rosamund Hawkey, and Michael and Chris Lee. Sister of the late Kenneth Clayton and survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. At her request there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in the Standish family plot in Rougemont, Quebec. In lieu of flowers a donation to St. Thomas Anglican Cemetery, 51 Rang de la Montagne, Rougemont, QC, J0L 1M0 would be appreciated. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support over the years. Mum/Nana/Joyce was a remarkable lady and will be missed by so many.
