Claudia Murphy-Brown
1931-2018
The death of Claudia Irene Murphy-Brown of Florenceville and formerly
of West Glassville occurred on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Hotel Dieu
Hospital, Perth Andover, NB. Born March 28, 1931 in Glassville she was
the daughter of the late Charles and Jennie Josephine/Josie (Ward)
Porter. She was also predeceased by 2 husbands, Raymond Murphy and
Charles Brown; 1 daughter Connie McAdam (Peter); 3 grandchildren ,
Shelly, Delton and Lex; 3 brothers, Alvin LeRoy, Gordon and
Gerald.
Claudia is survived by her 8 children, Debbie Lunn (Allen), Rayma
Thorne (Raymond), John Murphy (Maureen), Ricky Murphy (Sigrid), Laurie
Murphy (Bonnie), Brenda Inman (Michael), Shelly Hayden (Cecil) and
Shirley Murphy; 21 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great
grandchild; 1 brother, Arnold Porter (Hilda) as well as several
nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 2-4
& 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018
at 1:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev Susan Estabrooks
will officiate. The interment will be in the Glassville United
Cemetery. Donations made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation,
Glassville United Cemetery or the Florenceville Legion.
