OBITUARY
Claude Gelbard
February 21, 1956 – December 23, 2018
Passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on December 23, 2018 surrounded by his wife and children at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener in his 63rd year.
Loving husband to Sherri for 28 years. Devoted father to Jessica, Benjamin and Sidney. Dearest son to Edith and the late Isaac, and son-in-law to Max and Darlene Norris. Brother to Charlie (Marjory), Daniel (Sandra), Richard (Sue) and brother-in-law to Steve (Laura) and Tami. Claude will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held at Beth Jacob Synagogue, 161 Stirling Avenue S. Kitchener on Thursday, December 27 at 11 am with burial to follow at Beth Jacob Cemetery. Shiva visits from 1-4 pm and 6-9 pm on Thursday and Sunday to Wednesday at 30 Whisperwood Court, Kitchener. Donations may be made to the Grand River Hospital Cancer Centre.
