Claude Albert Morin
Morin, Claude Albert – With very heavy hearts the family announces the death of Claude Morin at the age of 55 years. Claude passed away on his birthday, Friday, May 11, 2018 at Health Sciences North following a brief illness.
Claude was born at Mont-Laurier, Quebec to the late Paul Morin and the late Noëlla Lauzon. He worked at Aurico Gold in Matachewan and made his home in North Cobalt. Claude was an avid biker and very passionate about riding his Harley. He loved spending time with his family. Claude is remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and friend.
Claude was predeceased by his parents; his brothers: Maurice and Jean-Paul, his in-laws: Cyrille and Bertha Jacques. Left to mourn is his loving wife Lucille whom he married 30 years ago July 23, 1988. Sadly missed by his daughter Katie [and her fiancé Jeremy Goddard]. Fondly remembered by his siblings: Jean-Paul and his wife Marie Morin of Caledon Village, Gisèle and her husband Marion Plouffe of New Liskeard, Roger and his wife Marguerite Morin of Ottawa; the Jacques family and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced as they become available. The family encourages all of Claude’s friends to come in their biker attire [bikes included] to pay tribute to Claude. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
