Clarice’s Obituary
STODDART, Clarice Elva – age 72 of East Tremont, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at home. Born in Weymouth, NS, Clarice was a daughter of the late Clyde Emmerson and Rosie (Britton) Raymond. Clarice worked in the kitchen at 14 Wing Greenwood. Clarice loved bingo and playing cards. She cherished her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and friends. She will be sadly missed by her step-son James (Laura) Stoddart of Lawrencetown and Johnny (Brenda) Stoddart of Nictaux; step–daughters Janice Ring and Darlene Ring; sister Verna (Maurice) Young of Lunenburg; brother Vernon Raymond of Cape Breton, Billy (Myrtle) Raymond of Weymouth and Gary (Tina Difford) Raymond of Wilmot; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Clarice was predeceased by her husband James Stoddart; her first husband Arnold Ring; step-son Billy Ring; sisters Elise Raymond, Janet Amero and Elizabeth Raymond; brothers Ralph, Jessie and Larry. In keeping with Clarice’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be at 11 am, Saturday, October 20th in Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown with Rev. Patty Beals officiating. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home. 398 Main St., 902-825-3448.
