Clarence Long Mussell
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Osgoode Care Centre on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Anna Cavanagh. Loving father of Paul (Grace), Gordon (Karen), Eric (Wendy), and the late Susan Mussell. Cherished grandpa of Ryan, Kristine (Andrew), Ben (Lindsay), Julie (Dave), (the late) Jennifer, Scott (Amanda), Gail, Ashley, Brett, Allan and Bailley. Great-grandpa of Michael, James, Renee, Casey and Abigail. Predeceased by his sister Evelyn Mallon and his brothers Stanley and Orville. Clarence will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Clarence played an active leadership role in his community and church, was a vital member of several organizations and was a community leader. Farming, hunting, fishing, trapping and sports played an important part of Clarence’s life. Family and friends are invited to visit the Kemptville Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm & 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday June 16, 2018 at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 5462 Main Street, Osgoode at 11 am. Interment at Elmview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Osgoode Care Centre or Rural Ottawa South Support Services.
