CHRISTINE MARGERY BARRIE
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christine Margery Barrie (Bennett) on Sunday, August 12, 2018.
Left to cherish Christine’s memory are her sister Barbara; son Neill (Sandy); daughter in law Edna; grandchildren Curtis (Bobbi), Michael (Stormi), Maricela (Al); step grandchildren Jeffrey and David; many great grandchildren, as well as friends that she made throughout her life. She was predeceased by her parents Christopher and Margery; husband James; son Keith and granddaughter Jillian.
Christine came to Canada in 1968 with her husband and two sons and settled in Pinawa, Manitoba working at the Pinawa Medical Clinic for a number of years. She loved to travel with her husband when they entered their retirement years and had many adventures. When looking to more travelling they moved to Winnipeg and spent their golden years with adventures to different countries and cultures. With the passing of her husband, Christine retired to Sturgeon Creek Residence where she spent her time with friends. She will be remembered by those whose lives she touched.
In compliance with Christine’s wishes, no Funeral Service will be held.
