Obituary for Catherine Di Tommaso
It is with great sadness the family of Catherine Di Tommaso announces her passing on Saturday January 13th, 2018 at Mackenzie Health Hospital, Richmond Hill, ON at the age of 69, after a brave battle with cancer. She was lovingly surrounded by her family. Catherine was born to Gina Bilotta and the late Guiseppe Bilotta on September 18th, 1948 in San Vito, Calabria Italy. She is survived by her devoted husband Tony, her stepson Shane (Katherine), and step grandchildren Arianna, and Elena, her loving sisters Marie and Josie, her mother in law Nice, and her late father in law Nicola, and in laws Lina and Claudio. She will also be sadly missed by her nieces Gina, Joanne, and Michelle (Bill), and six grandnieces and nephews, Billy, Gianna, Sarah, Emma, Lucas, and James. Catherine worked with Gary Luftspring for 25 years during her career at Ricketts Arris. Visitation will be held on Monday January 15th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at MARSHALL FUNERAL HOME, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, ON. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday January 16th at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 10395 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, ON. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, 8361, Yonge Street, Thornhill. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Mackenzie Health Hospital.
