With broken hearts the family announce the passing of Carrie
Anne Lord (Phillips), a Double Lung Transplant Recipient who lost her
courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at
the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Carrie was employed at Coastal Business Machines
and worked with her Dad until she became too ill to work. Carrie was
an avid Beatles fan and collector. Carrie’ s priority in
life was her family.
She is survived by the
love of her life, her husband Matt Lord and their son Aiden Lord; her
mom Judith Hickson (Muir); her dad and step mom Sheldon and Jannie
Phillips; brother Roy Nairn; sister Lisa Nairn; maternal grandfather
Manzel Muir; her father and mother-in-law, Rod and Barb Lord; brother
and sister-in-law, Michael and Alyson Lord; and several aunts, uncles,
cousins, nieces and nephews.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home,
152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (849-2119) with
visitation on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00
PM. The Funeral Service will be held from Kennebecasis Community
Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Interment
will take place at River Bank Cemetery at a later date. For those who
wish, remembrances in memory of Carrie may be made to Cystic Fibrosis
Canada.
