NEW GLASGOW – Carolyn Vivian Wallace (Dorrington)

Born in New Glasgow, N.S., she was the daughter of the late

Mom was a drummer and one of the original members of the
Balmoral Girl’s Pipe Band, Stellarton. After graduating from
Stellarton High School, she worked as a teller in the Bank of Nova
Scotia, then joined the RCAF as a Fighter Control Operator and met her
husband Walter. In later years she was a short order cook at
several restaurant establishments.
Mom’s passion was researching her ancestral lineage and she
was able to compile an extensive library on the families with which
she was associated. Additionally, she helped so many others by
providing missing information and how to use the information required
to help families connect their
