Carolyn Ann Kaine Wyers 1928 2018

Obituary for
Carolyn Kaine (Wyers)
Carolyn Kaine (nee Wyers) passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at St. Lawrence Lodge in Brockville, Ontario after a lengthy battle with dementia. She was a wife, mother, sister and friend to many. Her husband of 53 years, Tommy Kaine, passed away in 2003 in Toronto. Carolyn leaves behind her daughter Candace (Gerry Sullivan) of Brockville and Julie (Reg Boyce) of Rockwood and her beloved grandson, Cameron Boyce (Tamara) of Guelph.
Carolyn loved people and made many friends over her long life. She had a great sense of humour and was very caring and interested in the world around her. She will be greatly missed.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Lawrence Lodge for their wonderful care and compassion. Special thanks to our friend Donna Worden and friends and caregivers Sylvia Cruji, Lynda Deeks and Kim Varacalli, who provided comfort and care not only to Carolyn, but to our whole family as our mother took her final journey. Words cannot express our thanks to all our friends and family who have been there for us over the years.
There will be a celebration of life for Carolyn at Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St. E., Brockville, Ontario on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. with family and friend tributes at 2:30 p.m. We would love to see you there. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lanark Leeds and Grenville Alzheimer Society or the St. Lawrence Lodge Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged. Condolences and donations may be made online at www.irvinememorial.com.
